For fall/winter 2017, the Californian brand continues to mix performance, style
and comfort with the use of sustainable materials and production. Building up
on the brand’s #sustainableclothingmovement, prAna is introducing the use of
traceable, responsible down (according to the independent Responsible
Down Standard RDS) and PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) into its
production. These add to prAna having been one of the first major apparel
makers to offer Fair Trade certified clothing (and being officially accredited by
the Fair Labor Association) and the brand’s growing offerings of bluesign®
certified styles.

The Showdown Jacket for men and women combines four attributes in one:
dry, warm, on-trend and simply made right. The jacket is bluesign® certified,
filled 90/10 RDS down, and features a unique outer fabric: a 64% eco-friendly
yarn-dyed recycling Polyester with a PFC-free DWR-finish. Its touch is pretty
untypical for a down jacket, as the soft-brushed surface almost reminds of
flannel. In the two check-designs the Showdown Jacket comes with a unique
lumberjack appeal.

prAna also introduces the Winter Zion Pant as a stylish performance pant next
to the denim and climbing categories. Made from their successful Stretch Zion
weave, it offers UPF 50+ and a comfy brushed back dobby. The pant comes
with mesh pockets as well as a dual entry cargo pocket with a zip closure. For a
flexible fit, the Winter Zion Pant is specked with an adjustable waistband and
roll-up leg snaps.

The new Zion Full Zip Hood mixes Stretch Zion fabric with fleece for a versatile and stylish layering piece. The Stretch Zion fabric comes with a DWRfinish
at hood, shoulder and the sleeve panels. The polyester-cotton blended
fleece at the lower body includes two warm hand pockets.
The Holberg ¼ Zip Sweater is a retro fashion piece expanding the
collection of performance and lifestyle sweaters and hoodies. The
sweater is made from a nylon / polyester / wool blended knit. It comes
in three different colors, melange stripes at the chest and a soft mock
neck.
